How to setup your Marketing Tech Stack
Software tools to automate your systems and increase your productivity and efficiency.
You don't need fancy technology to start your business but it definitely helps accelerate the process of capturing and nurturing leads into customers.
To create a sustainable long-term passive income you need to have business systems and automate and delegate as much as you can.
My business partner in my first ad agency used to always remind me…
“It takes money to make money Craig. We need to invest to grow.”
He was right because systems are what allow you to scale and scaling requires automation.
There are some great software applications out there that can help automate your processes and systems. They will free up your time to work on more important parts of your business so you are not trying to do everything.
Key Parts of your marketing system
Your marketing system should guide your visitors step-by-step through the entire sales process so they don’t get confused or LOST, and worse… leave.
The right system set up correctly will save you time and make your money.
You don't want to over complicate things but there are some basic tools you need.
Website & Sales Funnel builder
Shopping Cart with 1 click upsells
Email and Facebook Marketing Automation
Payment processes to accept payments
Members area for building info products
These are the core capabilities you will need to succeed and they come in different levels of sophistication and cost.
I understand that not everybody has funds to invest in the top of the line systems.
I've provided three options based on your budget.
High budget
If you have over $500/month to invest in your business then you need sales funnel software plus a marketing automation platform.
For sales funnels I recommend the following;
ClickFunnels Platinum version with email automation built in
DropFunnels Pro with funnels, courses, website and blog platform
Instacart has everything you need to start building landing pages and funnels
For email marketing automation I recommend;
Medium budget
If you have at least $200/month to invest in your business you need Funnel Software and an Email Automation Software.
My recommended apps are the $80/month ClickFunnels Basic + ActiveCampaign.
These two tools provide you with everything you need to quickly create beautiful sales funnels that convert your visitors into leads and then into customers and an email automation system that will help you build your email list and build automated email marketing sequences.
Other options in the medium budget range are Samcart and GrouvePages.
Low to no budget
